Our accommodation
At our aged care facilities in Carterton we offer 42 comfortable well appointed bedrooms, 16 with ensuites. There are attractive lounge facilities and a comfortable dining room. In addition in park like surroundings there are 6 self contained villas providing quality affordable rental accommodation and two right to occupy villas with more planned.These offer an independent or semi independent lifestyle. We also have an arrangement with the Carterton District Council to provide support to a number of council owned units located next door to Carter Court Rest Home - all within easy range of our facilities.
Our environment
From our extremely comfortable aged care accommodations to our lovely, relaxing gardens, you'll find Carter Court Rest Home to be a wonderful place to wander and spend your time in. Our park like grounds contain beautiful flower gardens and vegetable gardens for residents to enjoy and be involved in, if they choose. Our adjacent orchard can be accessed via our sensory garden and walkway. We have a library with computer and internet facilities and wifi access to all rooms. We also encourage families and friends to visit, sit and enjoy the attractive spacious communal areas. We are within easy walking distance of the local Carterton shopping centre and the local supermarket.
